Ingredients Required for Dahi Bhalla Recipe:

For Bhalla Preparation:
Lentil (Daal Mash) 1/2 cup
Green Chili (sabz mirch) – 1, 2
Salt (Namak) – 1/2 tsp
Red Chili Powder (laal mirch) – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder (zeera) – 1/2 tsp

Yogurt Preparation:
Yogurt (Dahi) – 2 cup
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Milk – 1/2 cup

Assembling:
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Papri
Imli Chutney
Podina Chutney
Homemade Chat Masala

Preparation:

Soak lentil for overnight.
When preparing wash once, then remove water and put in blender.
Add 2 tbsp water and then green chili.
Blend to make a fine paste.
Add all spices [(Salt (Namak) – 1/2 tsp; Red Chili Powder () – 1/2 tsp; Cumin Powder (Zeera) – 1/2 tsp)].
Beat in one direction so that the batter is smooth, thick and becomes airy.
Deep fry in small round shape.
Once fried, soak the bhallas in tap water for 10 mins.

Prepare yogurt with all the ingredients mentioned above.

Now assembling.

Dry water out of the bhallas by gently pressing between your palms.
Next, line bhallas in a shallow container.
Pour yogurt prepared above.

Sprinkle [Onion, Tomato, Papri, Imli Chutney, Podina Chutney, Homemade Chat Masala] to your taste

Put in the refrigerator for 10-15 min before  serving. Serve slightly cold.

Great for iftari as well as for evening tea and for guests
