Ingredients
1. Apple (Saeb) – 500 grams
2. Sugar (Cheeni) – 1/4 cup
3. Green Cardamom (Hari Alaichi) – 5 pods
4. Lemon Juice (Limu) – 2 tbsp
5. Cinnamon stick (Darchini) – 1/2
Method
1. You may choose apples of your choice. I prefer using more sour taste. First wash, peel and remove the core. Make nice mediums size chunks.
2. Now we will cook the apples. For this take a large cooking pot. Add the apple chunks.
4. Cook on medium flame for 20 minutes. No need to add water.Apple juice will start coming out after 5 minutes.
4. Now put cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and lemon juice.
5. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture comes to a simmer.
6. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and allow the mixture to continue to slightly simmer for 15 minutes or until the apples are super tender. If your apple chunks are too big, you can mash them up a bit. Otherwise, leave them as is.
