A classic chicken egg club sandwich recipe to treat you with a simple 15 minute meal idea that is perfect for kids school lunch, dinners or for guest evening tea. This easy recipe features all the traditional ingredients of a club sandwich. It indeed is a thing of beauty. You can fancy it up with extra fillings thinly sliced red onion, lettuce or tomatoes but I prefer to keep it simple. This double layer sandwich is definitely filling enough for dinner with a side of soup or some crispy chips.
My recipe of the sandwich is perfect for a lunchtime when you have a busy afternoon ahead – owing to the solid mixture of carbs, protein and yumminess. You will have a hearty meal on your table!

Ingredients & Method for Chicken Egg Club Sandwich Recipe
Chicken & Salad Filling:
[Quantity is enough to make four club sandwiches]
Chicken (Murghi) – 1 cup (boiled, shredded)
Bread Pieces – 3 slices for each sandwich
Eggs (Ande) – 2 boiled, sliced
Salt (Namak) – 2 tsp
Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) – 2 tsp
Brown Sugar (Cheeni) – 1 tsp
Mayo – 4 tbsp (2 each for salad and chicken filling)
Cream – 1 tbsp
Butter (Makhan) – 2 tbsp
Cabbage (Band Gobi)
Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
Carrot (Gajar)
Method
1. Boil chicken with salt and cloves of garlic. When boiled, shred into small pieces.
2. In a mixing bowl, put chicken. Add mayo, salt & pepper. Mix well to make sandwich chicken fillings. Put aside.
3. Take another mixing bowl. Add Julian cut cabbage, capsicum and carrot. Add salt, pepper, mayo and cream. Mix well. Salad filing is ready. Put it also one side.
4. Now take sandwich bread pieces. Cut all four sides edges.
5. Apply butter on one side of all slices.
6. Finally to assemble, take one slice, spread chicken filling. Cap it with another slice. Spread butter on other side of the slice.
7. Add egg slices. Put a spoon of salad filling. Spread it evenly.
8. Cover it with another slice.
9. Insert toothpicks to cut it easily into two sandwiches diagonally.
10. Serve with fries, salad and drink of your choice.
